15th Shanghai Milan International Textile Fair: Building the Best Trade Exchange Platform for
Expanding China's Market.
From March 12, 2019 to March 14, 2019, 46 enterprises (an increase of 9% compared with March
2018) participated in Milano Unica Pavilion, Italy, Shanghai. Under the framework of Intertextile
Shanghai, the largest textile trade exhibition in the world, 46 enterprises displayed their spring and
summer 2020 on the best platform of Sino-Italian trade exchange. Series.
For Italian textile manufacturers interested in expanding their business in the Chinese market, this is
an opportunity not to be missed. The fair was held smoothly with the full cooperation of the Italian
Foreign Trade Commission and the strong support of the Italian Ministry of Economic Development.
According to reports, from the first 11 months of 2018, the mainland of China and the Hong Kong
Special Administrative Region are the largest markets for Italian fabric products. Total exports of more than 365 million euros (an increase of 3.7% compared with the same period in 2017) are crucial to maintaining the trade balance between Italy and China in this area. Exports of textiles to China increased total exports to non-EU countries by 2.9%, while exports within the EU decreased by - 3.5%. Although exports to Germany declined, they remained the second largest market, with total exports of about 315 million euros.
